Ashley is honored to have been selected for the KC Fringe Festival and will debut her one act play thorns this July in Kansas City, Missouri.
ABOUT: thorns is a world premiere one act play, about sisters who after going through a box of old family keepsakes find a few pictures - one of which is their father holding a newborn baby that is not any of them. The story takes them on a journey of self discovery, facing painful truths and wondering if secrets should just stay buried.

ABOUT: pink champagne follows Jack and Penny, two childhood friends, turned lovers with a complicated history on Halloween night in NYC. Boundaries are pushed. Feelings are explored. Truths are exposed. They both are searching to find the answer to that age all question - can love be enough?

Ashley was selected for the 2025 Kansas City Fringe Festival where she directed and produced a run of her new play HOME TOWN.
ABOUT: Home Town is an hour long piece that tells the story of the Warren family as they cope with a heartbreaking loss. We follow those who remain as they navigate their new lives with this unfillable hole. It explores the messy, dark nature of grief and the profound realization that life is fragile.

KANSAS CITY PLAYWRIGHT’S ROUNDTABLE
Ashley has been selected to join the 2024-25 Kansas City Playwright’s Roundtable class through the Kansas City Public Theatre.
The Playwright’s Roundtable is an exciting opportunity to engage with fellow playwrights, foster artistic dialogue, and showcase work. The Playwright’s Roundtable aims to create a supportive and collaborative space where playwrights can come together to discuss their craft, share insights, and receive valuable feedback on their works-in-progress.

CRASHING
Ashley’s original play CRASHING was named Best Play of the Summer 2024 Virtual Play Festival from the Equity Library Theater of New York.
